For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways...For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
—Isaiah 55:8-9
—Isaiah 55:8-9
Did you know a lack of understanding of how God does things can wear you out?
If you don't understand His ways, you could end up fighting and resisting things, thinking they are an attack from the devil, when in reality they are an attempt by the Lord to work something good in your life.
You know God does not do bad things. But sometimes you may fail to realize that everything that feels bad to you is not necessarily bad for you.
Reminding yourself that His ways are not your ways will help you trust Him even when your circumstances are hard to understand. As this busy day comes to a close, just put yourself in the hands of almighty God...and rest in the knowledge that He is good and knows what's best.

TGIF :)
This morning, I woke up refreshed. After raining all night, the air seems fresher.
I love today's devotional topic - Trust God's Ways. It is simple yet hard at times, to fully trust His ways. Before reading the rest of the article, I took a glance at the bible verse, then my dad came online in Skype. Chatted with him for awhile and guess what, he shared the same verse with me. haha. I believe it is not a coincidence.
God has a message for me this morning. I am someone who does not like uncertainties. So I claim myself as an unadventurous person. I am always troubled by my current situation, which I do not think it will lead me to a good future.
I always have plans for myself. Not big ones maybe. but being in such situation, such circumstance is absolutely not in my plan. But God does not make mistakes. I have to always remind myself that God is in control of everything.

Maybe I should stop asking why's and how's. Just be still and let God be God, for we cannot always understand His thoughts and ways.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21 (NIV)
My future is in His hands!
